Bird photography can be quite exciting and exhausting as well walking for miles with heavy photo-equipment can be very demanding.

Well in this case it was a quite boring job we spotted the parakeets  but seemed to be happy with their world and didn’t think to show any attractive activity.

So we wait wait, wait ,....  a couple of pictures when the eyes are open and the birds look vigilant but no real good shots.

Sometimes patience pays off, suddenly this little fellow start to scratch himself ... we got the cation we wanted.

We used a Canon EOS 50D with a 500mm + 1.4 times converter attached to it. As it was one of these days with a thick cloud cover  we went for fill-flash to bring back the vibrant green of these cute little parrots
